The Foundation's programs are open on equal terms to qualified scholars, without regard to protected characteristics.
The Alexander Hamilton Foundation does not discriminate in its grantmaking, employment, or operations on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
This policy applies to all Foundation activities, including the solicitation and review of proposals, the selection of fellows and grantees, the administration of awards, the engagement of peer reviewers and advisors, the hiring and treatment of employees, and the engagement of contractors, vendors, and service providers.
The Foundation's grants are administered through grantees' home institutions under those institutions' standard policies, which independently govern nondiscrimination at the institutional level.
